Firstly, thank you for all the birthday greetings - I have had a nice day. We had a family lunch out and I have a voucher for another meal in a new café, some of my favourite perfume, and a new lap-desk.

Where did the week go? In the past we spoke of 'the mists of time', but now it feels as if current time has become a sort of a mist - it is hard to tell how far behind anything was, and we can't see ahead to easily pick out landmarks like celebrations and trips away from home ( Read more... )

Willow has had a nice weekend - we had the bookshop committee meeting here on Friday night, when there were biscuits and home made fruit loaf and gingerbread; some people dropped the odd crumb and Willow is more efficient than a roomba!
